Wheat has an 18-week cycle that bottomed with the seasonal. The recent purple setup bar occurred at the one-half 9-week cycle bottom, which was also a swing low. Wheat is such a directional market that it would not be unusual for prices to continue straight down without forming a swing low until the weekly cycle bottoms.
